Last weekend might have been a bit early to celebrate Christmas by some people's standards. (And if you're wondering why we do it this way you can have a quick peek here).
In fact we did have to call the man who owned the tree lot and make a special request for him to open his gates so that we could find and chop down a tree.
But it was cold, and when "Let it Snow" came on it actually started snowing a bit. And then there was the turkey, the stuffing and the Christmas carols.
And of course the awkward family conversations, family politics and things that make you realize it's a good thing you're related ;)
So if it looks like Christmas, and it tastes like Christmas, and it feels like Christmas - is it Christmas?
Almost. Not quite, but we made do.
