So Wednesdays this fall I'm part of the midweek current affairs show on the campus radio station (93.1 FM in Ottawa) and yesterday I was on music. My co-producer and I got to pick out some cool Canadian content and Toronto based singer song-writer Basia Bulat was one of the artists we chose. (It's a polish name- pronounced: BAYs-ya). Girl can sing! Her album just came out on Tuesday and I just can't stop listening. So so good; Tall Tall Shadow.
Oddly enough I saw her sing at a folk festival a few years ago and at the time I thought she was good, but then I lost track of her. Now I have to make up for lost time and I know what I'm going to put my birthday iTUNES gift cards towards :)
Let me know what you think! Or go and see for yourself:
